Foot soak~ Detox foot soak instructions:

Use a glass container

Fill with warm water to cover your toes 

Add 1/4 cup of magnesium soak,

1/4 cup of ACV,

2TB of baking soda,

2TB of bentonite clay

Soak for 20- 30mins

 

Golden Milk Butter Cups:

7oz dairy free, dark chocolate chips

2 teaspoons of extra-virgin coconut oil

1/8 of a teaspoon of sea salt for dusting

For the filing

1/4cup of nut butter

1 tablespoon of golden milk spice blend

instructions:

Line a mini muffin pan with 12 paper liners. To melt the chocolate, place the chocolate in a glass bowl and set it over a small saucepan of boiling water, or use a double broiler. Add the coconut oil and stir until fully melted and smooth, remove from the heat. Scoop about a 1/2 tablespoon of melted chocolate into each Muffin liners, filling them about a quarter of the way and then place pan in the freezer to allow the chocolate to set for five minutes. Set aside the bowl with the remaining chocolate. Take the muffin pan out of the freezer. To each cup, add a teaspoon of the butter, pressing it down to flatten and add remaining chocolate, top with the cup with a half a tablespoon of melted chocolate and return to the freezer for another three minutes until nearly set, sprinkle with golden milk powder and sea salt. Return to the freezer until ready to eat. These can be kept frozen in an air container for up to a month.

Fire Cider: 

Great for salads as a dressing or use a marinade on fish or chicken. 


To store please refrigerate for up to six months or place in ice cube tray and freeze for up to a year!

 

Mung Bean Brownies:

11/2 cups cooked mung beans

1/2 cup of cacao powder 

8 pitted dates

2 tbsp melted coconut oil

2 tsp vanilla extract 

1/2 tsp baking powder 

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips 

Instructions: 

preheat the oven to 350. Line an 8 x 8in  baking pan with parchment paper. In a food processor combine all ingredients except for the chocolate chips and blend until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips and spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan add additional chocolate chips over top. Bake for 16 to 20 minutes until toothpick inserted and the center comes out clean.  Immediately after removing the pan from the oven, use a spatula to spread the melted chocolate chips over the brownies and sprinkle shredded coconut (optional ) allow to cool before slicing. Store in an all airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or three months in the freezer. 

CARAMEL SQUARES

* INGREDIENTS

cup dates • 1 cup hazelnuts a 1 cup dates, soaked in boiling water for 10 min 1 1/4 cup hazelnut butter • 1tea of golden milk powder, pinch salt, vanilla and 1 bar dark chocolate, melted 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

Combine

layer 1 ingredients in a processor and blend then pour in a square dish lined with parchment paper. Set in freezer for 10 min

• Drain dates and mix in the butter then pour over. Finish off with melted chocolate.

Sweet Potato Brownies

For the sweet potatoes:

  • Pierce your potatoes with a fork and microwave for 5-7 minutes on high.
  • Once cooked, scoop out the center of the sweet potatoes with a spoon. Discard the skins.

For the brownies:

  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a mixer or large mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, coconut oil, eggs and maple syrup until smooth.
  • Stir in oat flour, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder. Mix until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips with a spatula.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread into an even layer.
  • Bake until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean, 25-30 minutes.
  • Let the brownies cool for 10 minutes then slice
